The official website of Harvard University hacked and defaced by SyRiAn eLeCTronic ArMy. The university website appears to be back to normal, but administrators took it down for several hours.
The homepage showed a picture of Bashar Assad, the Syrian president, and a message reading, "Syrian Electronic Army Were Here." Assad was in military uniform and stood before a Syrian flag.
According to the Harvard Spokes Man:-
"The university's homepage was compromised by an outside party this morning. We took down the site for several hours in order to restore it. The attack appears to have been the work of a sophisticated individual or group."
