4 Lebanon Govt Sites Hacked By #Anonymous Hackers (#OpLebanon)
Cyber space of Lebanon faced massive cyber attack. Hackers have broke into the Govt server and defaced four Lebanon Govt websites. Attackers are claiming themselves to be the part of infamous Anonymous. According to the hacker four websites of the Lebanon government get defaced in an act of apparent solidarity with protests staged this week in Beirut calling for a secular government. One of the official twitter account of Anonymous (YourAnonNews) announced the attack on twitter: "Lebanon pwnt - http://www.economy.gov.lb/ | http://www.beirut.gov.lb/ (via @Ihab39) #Anonymous" LOLzzz"
The official sites for the Directorate General of Lebanese General Security, the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and the Municipality of Beirut became the victim of this cyber attack. Still the index page of those sites showing "Under Maintenance". It is said that the attack is allegedly linked to the protests that took place in Beirut when 400 people rallied to call for social justice, reforms and to revive the anti-sectarian movement that began two years ago.
