National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) Hacked By Xception Code, Database Exposed
Official website of NRAO - National Radio Astronomy Observatory faced cyber attack, and Indian hacker code named "Xception Code" took responsibility of the attack. NRAO is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center of the United States National Science Foundation operated under cooperative agreement by Associated Universities, Inc for the purpose of radio astronomy. NRAO designs, builds, and operates its own high sensitivity radio telescopes for use by scientists around the world.
Normally we are habituated to see that when ever a hacker get access on a server either he defaced the websites hosted there or else some times breach the database and expose credentials. Here the hacker has managed to hack into the database of NRAO and exposed several details of the server, application installed on the server, database details such as tables, columns, full name, email-id, user name and so on. Xception Code also claimed to have the administrator passwords and login details but for some reason he did not make those public. What ever all the hacked credentials can be found on a pastebin release.
